On Wednesday 31 August, the Art Club and Year 11 Biology students joined forces to run Jeans for Genes Day. The day involved students wearing jeans to school and bringing along small donations to raise money for the Children's Medical Research Institute.
In total, $1189 was raised and many teachers were proud to wear their painted jeans to celebrate the event. The jeans have been painted by art students and teachers of years past, and this year, the Art Club added a few more pairs to the collection.
A big thanks to everyone involved!
