SHHS's amazing student volunteers continue to give

Every year the Elite Energy group ask for Smith's Hill High School students to volunteer at Wollongong Triathlon (as well as the Kiama Coastal Classic). This year we had about 40 students help in various positions for the Wollongong Triathlon which was held on the last Sunday of the April school holidays. Not only did these students give up half of their weekend, but many of them also had to start at 4:30am! 

What a wonderful bunch of students.

Please pass a big thank you to all the students who helped me on Sunday.  Some of the students had some very hard spots but did it without complaining.

The 4 students who were in baggage stood out for me as there were a few changes and it was quite hard for them, and everyone throwing bags at them, but again did this without any complaining.

With all their effort they made $2,025!

Our students consistently impress with their willingness to give of themselves to help the community. Thank you to all of you!
