It's that time of year where extracurricular opportunities are approaching. I am excited to announce the 2022 Brain Bee Challenge is very close. If you are a Year 10 student and are interested in the brain and its functions, neuroscience research, careers in neuroscience and to dispel misconceptions about neurological and mental illnesses. The Brain Bee Challenge is a competition for you!
Throughout the Challenge you will be able to engage with university level content exploring these concepts before taking part in a 45-minute online assessment through EP between 1 March to 9 April.
A select group of students will then be invited to take part in the in-person Round 2 event, held at one of Sydney's top universities. On this day they are invited to spend time with neuroscience students, lecturers and tutors from the university, as well as other Year 10 students from across NSW.
The Brain Bee Challenge is completely free and will require commitment to ongoing challenges and assessment. If you are interested and excited about this opportunity, please see Ms Bullock in the Teaching and Learning office upstairs in the Library for more information.
