Zone

The Northern Illawarra Zone carnival took place on Tuesday 3 March, 2020. In what was meant to be a day of rain, it turned out to be perfect for a competition and spectating some outstanding performances in and out of the pool. Our SHHS team demonstrated the culture of the school by pure sportsmanship. Students continually supported and congratulated other students throughout the day and cheered their team on with the Smith’s Hill spirit. The school achieved an overall second place only to be beaten by Woonona High School.

South Coast Regional

The South Coast Regional Swimming Championships was held on Tuesday 10 March at Dapto Pool. Smith’s Hill students had a successful day and placed an overall 2nd behind Woonona at the carnival. Students were commended on their outstanding behaviour and attitude towards the day. Unfortunately there was some discrepancies in the tallying age point score and this will be informed at a later date.
