Alex Swan in year 12 recently returned from a two week tour of South Africa representing CHS Rugby Union. The team played against Kasselsvlei High School in Cape Town, a disadvantaged school, where the local primary school boys ran the water for the match.
The team also participated in the St John’s College Easter Rugby Festival in Johannesburg - a highly regarded rugby tournament for schools from across South Africa.
As well as the playing rugby, the boys enjoyed cultural activities, site seeing and safaris. The tour was a great success with CHS coming home undefeated. Congratulations to Alex!
