Year 9 English – ‘The Crucible’

 

Year 9 English classes were recently treated to a wonderful performance Arthur Miller's play "The Crucible' at Wollongong High School of the Performing Arts.

The cast brought to life the context of Salem, Massachusetts 1692 in an authentic manner and our students were taken on an emotional journey as the play explores many themes that are still relevant today.

Year 9 will be studying the play next semester so it was a great opportunity for them to experience a live performance.
