Rain, hail or shine, our Year 10's kept on keeping on.
Year 10 camp at Bendalong was full of fun, laughter and an awesome group of young people who radiated a positive attitude throughout our three day sojourn. Students embraced all of the activities with enthusiasm - surfing, kayaking (avoiding the plethora of stingrays surrounding us), whip cracking (channelling the Man (and women) from Snowy River), bush walking to see the large number of seals gathered to inspect humanity's finest in the making - Year 10 cohort of 2021.
It was wonderful to observe students engaged in playing volleyball, cricket, frisbee, dancing and playing card games during our downtime at home base. Special thanks to Miss Ireland, Miss Phelps, Mr Robinson, Mr Nelmes, Miss Mikhael and Mr Black for joining us on our adventures. Finally thanks to our parents for the early morning drop off, the bags of food/lollies/chips so students wouldn't 'starve' and Black Diamond Adventures crew, for their expertise. Our quote for week 8 was 'Your attitude determines your altitude' and Year 10 certainly ensured their positive attitude made for a great camp full of fun. Thanks team!
