School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Festivus - Last day of school
Date: Friday, 19th December 2025
Time: 8:25am-2:45pm
Festivus is one of Smith's Hill High School’s biggest and most celebrated events. It offers students the chance to connect with friends, participate in a variety of engaging activities, and reflect on the school year. Organised by the SRC, Festivus is a proud achievement for the school community.
2026- Return to school
Date: Tuesday, 2nd February 2026
The office will be open on Tuesday 27th January. We welcome all students back to school on Tuesday 2nd February.
Year 7 will participate in a values day on the first day of school.

Year 7 Values Day is an exciting opportunity for students to come together, build strong connections, and celebrate the values that shape our school community.
Through fun team-building activities and collaborative challenges, students will meet new friends, develop important skills, and embrace our EnRICH values endeavour, respect, integrity, compassion and harmony.
It’s a day dedicated to growing confidence, making friendships, and starting the year with a positive, inclusive spirit.
