UNIFORM
The school community has agreed that there should be a uniform code of dress for all students attending Smith's Hill High School. In accordance with Department of School Education Guidelines, it is expected that all students who accept a place at Smith's Hill High School will abide by this dress code. To comply with the Australian Workplace Health and Safety Regulations, black leather shoes, not canvas, are required to be worn. Acceptable school shoes
Uniform shop price list and online ordering
Smith's Hill High School and Daylight Sportswear are pleased to offer an online ordering system for the purchase of school uniforms. This website will enable parents and students who are unable to visit the school uniform shop during opening hours to check prices of school uniforms or purchase school uniforms anytime. The online ordering system is quick and easy. Simply create an account profile, place your order, pay and select 'walk in' to pick up your order from the school uniform shop on the next open day.
Daylight Sportswear operates a uniform shop at the school and is the only supplier of all the school uniform needs for the students. It is open throughout the school year as per the opening hours listed below. A percentage of all sales made by the Uniform Shop are directed back to the school for the purchase of equipment and support for the students.
The uniform for Junior Girls consists of:-
- white blouse with school crest
- blue tartan skirt, shorts or navy slacks
- school blazer
- school V-necked jumper
- school tie
- white socks or black tights
- black enclosed leather shoes
The uniform for Junior Boys consists of:-
- white shirt
- navy shorts of trousers
- school blazer
- school V-necked jumper
- school tie
- white socks with shorts or navy socks with trousers
- black enclosed leather shoes
The uniform for Senior Girls consists of:-
- senior white blouse
- navy skirt, shorts or slacks
- school blazer
- school V-necked jumper
- school tie
- white socks or black stocking tights
- black enclosed leather shoes
The uniform for Senior Boys consists of:-
- senior white shirt
- grey shorts of trousers
- school blazer
- school V-necked jumper
- school tie
- grey socks with shorts or trousers
- black enclosed leather shoes
On formal occasions and when representing the school, the blazer and tie must be worn with the uniform
Sports uniform for both boys and girls:-
Sports day - Students may wear their sports uniform instead of normal school uniform.
PDHPE lessons - Students may wear their sports uniform to school if their PDHPE class is first period and then change into school uniform for the rest of the day. If students have a PDHPE class last period they are to wear their school uniform to school and then change into their sports uniform for PDHPE class and then wear home.
